Provides compensation payback to the employer due to accidents or occupational diseases suffered by the employee

This plan protects you as an employer in respect of your statutory liability should you be liable to pay compensation to any employee for bodily injuries sustained by accidents or occupational diseases arising out of and during his employment. The compensation is as per the Workmen’s Compensation Law(s) and Common Law to your workmen who are not covered by SOCSO. ​

The total annual contribution that you have to pay may vary depending on the risk exposure, our underwriting requirements, the sum covered and the nature of your business. Subject to a minimum contribution of RM100.00.

This plan does not cover certain losses, such as:

  1. War exclusions
  2. Employees of sub-contractors (unless specifically covered).
  3. An employee who is not a “workman” within the meaning of the Ordinance.
  4. Common Law (unless the cover is extended and additional contribution is paid
  5. Any other events prohibited by Shariah principles

Note: This list is non-exhaustive. Please refer to the Certificate for the full list of exclusions under this product.

You may cancel your certificate by giving a written notice to us. Upon cancellation, you are entitled to a partial refund of the contribution provided you have not made any claim.

The benefit(s) payable under eligible product is protected by Perbadanan Insurans Deposit Malaysia (PIDM) up to limits. Please refer to PIDM’s Takaful and Insurance Benefits Protection System (TIPS) Brochure or contact Takaful Malaysia or PIDM (visit www.pidm.gov.my/en).
