Malaysian;
Malaysian permanent residents;
Malaysia employment pass/work permit holders who are Muslim and travel to Saudi Arabia to perform Hajj/Umrah with a valid visa;
Aged between 18 years old and above; or
Children must be at least 30 days old to 18 years old, or under 23 years old if still studying full time at recognized higher education institution.
The “Family” plan covers you, your spouse and your children (maximum 5 children) who performs Umrah with you.
Yes, you are covered provided that the trip Turkiye and Egypt is still within the Takaful period stated in your certificate. This product also cover you when you are in any neighbouring country of Saudi Arabia (except Afghanistan, Iran and Syria) if your Umrah trip includes that country.
The Umrah Plan provides a protection period of up to 14 days only, while the Ziarah Plan provides up to 30 days.
The benefit(s) payable under eligible product is protected by Perbadanan Insurans Deposit Malaysia (PIDM) up to limits. Please refer to PIDM’s Takaful and Insurance Benefits Protection System (TIPS) Brochure or contact Takaful Malaysia or PIDM (visit www.pidm.gov.my/en).
