This is suitable for businesses involving daily cash transactions where coverage is provided for monies lost in transit or kept in premises. In the event of any loss/damage of the money by the theft peril, Takaful Malaysia will indemnify you.
Money means cash, bank notes, cheques, money orders, postal orders, Bills of Exchange and unused stamps.
Money in Transit
Loss of money in personal care and employee protection authorized by the participant while in direct transit between the premises and the bank
Money in Premises
Loss of money belonging to the participant or which is the participant's responsibility lost, destroyed or damaged while stored in the participant's premises
Damage to the Safety Box
Loss or damage to any safe or strong room belonging to the participant.
Business Owner
The total annual contribution that you have to pay may vary depending on the risk exposure, our underwriting requirements and the sum covered by the property. Subject to a minimum contribution of RM100.00.
This plan does not cover certain losses, such as:
– Fraud or dishonesty of employees.
– Clerical or accounting errors.
– Losses covered under a Fidelity Guarantee.
– Losses from unattended vehicles.
– Losses through confiscation by any Government or public authority
– Loss or damage caused by or attributed to the act of cheating.
– Loss or damage caused by or attributed to an act of -Criminal Breach of Trust by any person within the meaning of the definition of the offence of Criminal Breach of Trust set out in the penal court.
– Loss or damage due to error or omission.
– Any other events prohibited by Shariah principles.

You may cancel your certificate by giving a written notice to us. Upon cancellation, you are entitled to a partial refund of the contribution provided you have not made any claim.
