Coverage against loss or damage to the covered property due to burglary in the business or trade premises

This plan protects against loss or damage to property due to burglary in business or commercial premises. This plan also covers damage to your premises due to forced entry or exit that occurs during the burglary.

However, you as a business owner should have participated in our Fire Takaful Plan before participating in this plan.

FAQ

The total annual contribution that you have to pay may vary depending on the risk exposure, our underwriting requirements and the sum covered by the property. Subject to a minimum contribution of RM100.00.

This plan does not cover certain losses, such as:

  1. Theft by any member of the Participant’s family, staff or domestic servants or any person lawfully on the Premises.
  2. Medals, Coins, Curios, Rare Books, Plans, Patterns, Models, Designs, and Deeds (legal instruments).
  3. Loss of or damage arising out of the unoccupancy for a period exceeding 30 consecutive days and nights.
  4. Loss or damage arising out of the nondisclosure dual occupancy or incorrect description of occupancy.
  5. Premises exclude yard, garden, and outbuilding unless specifically agreed.
  6. War, invasion, the act of a foreign enemy, hostilities or any act of terrorism.
  7. Unaccountable and or inventory loss
  8. Any other events prohibited by Shariah principles.

You may cancel your certificate by giving a written notice to us. Upon cancellation, you are entitled to a partial refund of the contribution provided you have not made any claim.
