akaful Malaysia donated RM500,000 to the Skuad Musa’adah Al-Falah with Flood Victims Nationwide Program 2024 under the Flood Relief Mission initiative coordinated by the Department of Islamic Development Malaysia (JAKIM). Takaful Malaysia channelled the contribution through the Tabung Musa’adah fund as part of its efforts to provide immediate aid to communities affected by the floods.
The Group Chief Executive Officer of Takaful Malaysia, Nor Azman Zainal, presented a RM500,000 mock cheque to Dato’ Setia Dr. Haji Mohd Na’im Haji Mokhtar, Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Religious Affairs).
Nor Azman said, “This financial assistance is part of our corporate social responsibility initiatives, in line with Takaful Malaysia’s ongoing commitment to community development and well-being. We are committed to fostering collective responsibility in supporting the underprivileged and building a caring society. This contribution also reflects our support for the welfare initiatives carried out by JAKIM through the Tabung Musa’adah fund.”
He added, “We hope this financial assistance will ease the burden of flood victims and help them resume daily life after the disaster, particularly those who are less fortunate and severely affected. The contribution can be utilised for various needs such as daily financial assistance, educational support, healthcare services, home repairs, and assistive equipment for individuals with special needs. We sincerely hope this aid will support flood victims in rebuilding their lives after this disaster.”
