In collaboration with the Ministry of Education (MoE) Malaysia, Takaful Malaysia launched Di Hatiku Student Food Aid Programme Phase 2 at Sekolah Kebangsaan Taman Dato’ Harun 2 on 2 August 2024. Aligning with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG), Takaful Malaysia has allocated more than RM350,000.00 to eradicate malnutrition and ensure regular access to nutritious and sufficient food for normal growth and development to asnaf students in 13 schools in Kuala Lumpur and Selangor, as well as improving their academic performances. Syarikat Takaful Malaysia Am Berhad’s Chief Executive Officer, En. Mohamed Sabri Ramli, was on the ground to launch and meet with the receiving students.

The initiative not only addresses immediate nutritional needs but also underscores the role of consistent food support in improving focus, attendance, and overall academic outcomes. By targeting schools with high populations of underprivileged students, the programme aims to create a healthier, more conducive learning environment, ultimately contributing to long-term social progress and equity in education.
